Converter/Inverter System
Emps has taken an entirely new system engineering approach to power electronics for solar photovoltaic (PV) and other renewable energy sources. The US Department of Energy has identified power electronics technology as a critical bottleneck for widespread PV adoption and has assisted in funding the development of Emps' revolutionary technology.
Emps' mission is to develop and deliver inverter and converter products for photovoltaic (PV) and other renewable energy sources providing the highest total energy harvesting, lowest lifetime system cost, and value-added energy management features.
Emps is owned and operated in the United States. It will soon begin manufacturing also in the US with job creation plans.
Emps initial products are
-
5kW DC-DC converter only
-
